Lincoln Park Lacrosse Club scrimmaged local members of the Chicago Machine on the lakefront. The Machine players including Kevin Leveille, Mike Gabel, Jake Deane and Matt Striebel were looking to get on the field two weeks from their training camp. Lincoln Park wanted to tune up before facing defending league champions Chicago LC on the 19th. The Machine took the scrimmage but a strong performance by Mike Julius in the cage and good ball movement by the attack and midfield kept the score close. Lincoln Park wishes the Machine good luck for the upcoming MLL season.
